Internal Family Systems
Get to know all of your parts with curiosity, compassion, and connection.
“Part of me is so excited but the other part of me is nervous.”
“Part of me wants to make a change, the other part of me sees the risks”
“Younger me could really use a hug right now, another part says It’s not safe”
We’ve all been there…
AND we all have parts.
Inside each of us is a system of different “parts” the voices, feelings, and patterns that make up our inner world. Some protect us, some carry pain, and some long to be heard.
Through Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed Therapy, Casey gently guides you to meet and understand these inner parts with compassion rather than judgment. Together, you’ll learn that every part of you, even the ones that feel difficult or confusing, has a purpose and a story to tell.
What makes IFS Different
Unlike approaches that focus only on changing behavior or thoughts, IFS invites you to slow down, turn inward, and form a relationship with your inner world.
It’s not about “fixing” yourself it’s about discovering that you were never broken.
Casey’s role is to help you feel safe enough to explore, listen, and lead your system from a place of curiosity and compassion.
Casey’s Approach
Casey brings warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your inner world. She believes that healing happens when we approach ourselves with compassion not force.
Her goal isn’t to interpret or label your experience, but to help you discover what’s true for you. With her guidance, you’ll learn how to build trust with your internal system so you can live with greater ease, confidence, and self-leadership.
Still Unsure?
-
If you’ve ever felt like there are “different sides” of you that want different things, or you get frustrated by your own reactions (“Why did I say that?” “Why can’t I stop worrying?”), IFS might be a fit.
IFS is for anyone who wants to understand why they do what they do, not to judge themselves, but to bring healing to the parts that are trying to protect them.
-
Sessions usually begin with a brief check-in, followed by an invitation to turn inward. You and Casey might explore what’s happening in your body or emotions in the moment and begin to get to know the parts that arise.
You’ll never be pushed beyond your comfort zone, you set the pace. Casey’s role is to help you stay grounded, curious, and safe as you explore your inner world.
-
It’s completely normal to feel hesitant. Many people have learned to stay disconnected from their inner experience as a way to protect themselves.
Casey will guide you through the process gently and at your pace. You’ll never be asked to dive into anything painful before you feel ready. Together, you’ll build trust, both with each other and with your own inner system.

Yes. IFS is an evidence-based model recognized by the U.S. National Registry for Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP). Research shows it can help with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues by fostering internal harmony and self-compassion.
-
No problemo. Most people naturally notice different “sides” of themselves, the part that wants to rest and the part that says, “Keep going,” for example. You don’t have to believe in anything abstract to benefit. IFS is simply a way of helping those inner voices communicate and work together instead of against each other. You might notice sensations, visuals, or colors that represent the different elements, everyone experiences this differently.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You don’t even have to know where to start.
All you need is a willingness to get curious, and Casey will guide you from there.
Together, you can begin building a kinder relationship with yourself…
